Rules & Ticket Sales Policies

The following Rules & Policies form part of your agreement with Bloom Nightclub Ltd., doing business as Creative West Productions (“Creative West” or the “Organizer”), for entry into The Summer Edit Kelowna (the “Event”), taking place at Waterfront Park, Kelowna, British Columbia on Saturday, August 22, 2026 (the “Venue”).

By purchasing a ticket and/or attending the Event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

1. Age Requirement

The Summer Edit is a strictly 19+ event.

All guests must present valid government-issued photo ID upon entry. Additional identification may be requested at the discretion of security or event staff.

Failure to provide valid identification will result in denied entry without refund.

2. Ticket Delivery & Sales

Tickets are delivered electronically via email in PDF format. Guests must present their ticket on a mobile device or as a printed copy for scanning upon arrival.

There is no will call available onsite.

All ticket sales are final and non-refundable, including but not limited to weather conditions, artist or programming changes, scheduling changes, or force majeure events.

Tickets grant access to the Event only. Programming, artists, vendors, and set times are subject to change without notice.

3. Arrival & Event Access

The Event operates from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM (PDT).

Entry is via the Dolphin Entrance off Ellis Street.

No re-entry is permitted.

Guests must remain within designated event boundaries and comply with all instructions from event staff, security personnel, and emergency services.

Creative West reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any guest without refund for unsafe, illegal, disruptive, discriminatory, intoxicated, or non-compliant behaviour.

4. Wristbands & Age Verification

Tickets will be exchanged for festival wristbands upon entry.

Wristbands must remain intact, secure, and visible at all times. Removed, altered, or damaged wristbands will not be replaced.

Staff and security may verify wristbands and identification at any time throughout the Event.

5. Bag Searches & Security

Entry to the Event constitutes consent to security screening, bag inspection, ID verification, and compliance with all applicable laws, venue regulations, and event policies.

All bags and personal belongings are subject to reasonable search upon entry.

Security reserves the right to deny entry to any person or confiscate any item deemed unsafe, prohibited, or disruptive.

6. Permitted & Prohibited Items

Permitted Items

  • Small purses, clutches, beach bags, and medium-sized backpacks

  • Small towels and blankets

  • Sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses

  • Empty reusable water bottles

  • Small personal umbrellas

  • Camera phones and small digital cameras

Prohibited Items

  • Outside food or beverages

  • Outside alcohol

  • Pre-filled drink containers

  • Cannabis or controlled substances

  • Oversized bags, large luggage, or hard coolers

  • Drones

  • Professional cameras with detachable lenses or lenses extending more than 1 inch

  • Pets, except certified service animals

All permitted items remain subject to security approval.

7. Weather, Smoke & Force Majeure Policy

The Event is intended to proceed rain or shine.

In the event of unsafe conditions or circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Organizer — including but not limited to severe weather, wildfire smoke, unsafe air quality, natural disasters, government restrictions, public health orders, labor disputes, or other force majeure events — the Event may be delayed, modified, postponed, or canceled.

No refunds will be issued due to weather, smoke conditions, programming changes, or force majeure events.

8. Smoking, Alcohol & Substance Policy

Smoking and vaping are permitted only within designated areas.

Outside alcohol is strictly prohibited and will be confiscated upon entry.

Cannabis and other controlled substances are not permitted onsite.

Any matters involving illegal substances or unlawful activity may be referred to the RCMP.

9. Accessibility

The Organizer is committed to creating an inclusive and accessible event environment.

Accessible viewing areas are available. Guests requiring accessibility accommodations or special assistance are encouraged to contact the Organizer in advance of the Event.

10. Images & Media Consent

By attending, volunteering, performing, or participating in the Event, guests consent to being photographed, filmed, or otherwise recorded.

These materials may be used by the Organizer and their partners for promotional, marketing, archival, and commercial purposes without compensation or further notice.

Professional photography or videography is prohibited without official Event credentials or prior written approval.

11. Release of Liability & Assumption of Risk

Guests voluntarily assume all risks, known or unknown, associated with attendance and participation in the Event, including but not limited to personal injury, illness, property damage, theft, or loss.

Creative West Productions, Bloom Nightclub Ltd., their affiliates, partners, staff, contractors, volunteers, and venue representatives shall not be held liable for any claims, damages, losses, or injuries arising from participation in the Event, except where required by applicable law.

Guests further agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Organizer against any third-party claims arising from their actions or conduct at the Event.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada.

Any disputes arising in connection with the Event or these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia.

By purchasing a ticket and attending The Summer Edit Kelowna 2026, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
